ABOUT THE AUTHOR

DAVID JABLONSKY is a Professor of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Army War College. He holds a B.A. in European History from Dartmouth College; an M.A. in International Relations from Boston University; and an M.A. and Ph.D. in European History from the University of Kansas. Dr. Jablonsky has held the Elihu Root Chair of Strategy and is the author of numerous monographs and articles as well as The Nazi Party in Dissolution: Hitler and the Verbotzeit 1923-1925 (1989) and Churchill, the Great Game, and Total War (1991).
