International Executive Board Buys Ten Thou-
sand Dollars Worth of Liberty Bonds.

In answer to the appeal of President Gompers and the
A. F. of L. the International Union has bought $10,000 worth
of these bonds. The investment is good and assured the
protection of that part of our treasury, no matter what might
happen in the financial world during the war.

Local Union No. 12 also bought $1,000 worth of Liberty Bonds and donated $100 to the Red Cross. The SecretaryTreasurer received a request from President Gompers, asking that a report of all subscriptions to Liberty Bonds and donations to the Red Cross be made by all National and International organizations and Local Unions individually. Therefore kindly furnish headquarters with a report, stating amount of bonds bought and donations made to Red Cross by any of the Local Unions.
